Tour Program

Ouarzazate → Aït Ben Haddou → Agdz → Draa Valley → Zagora → Aït Sefoul

Meet your private driver in Ouarzazate and begin your adventure with a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Aït Ben Haddou, Morocco’s most famous fortified village.

Continue through the spectacular Anti-Atlas Mountains to Agdz, where the magnificent Draa Valley begins. Follow Morocco’s longest oasis, passing ancient kasbahs, palm groves, and traditional Berber villages before reaching Zagora, once an important stop for trans-Saharan caravans.

In the late afternoon, arrive at Kasbah Aït Sefoul, a peaceful oasis surrounded by palm trees and authentic desert scenery. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner and relax in this charming kasbah before continuing deeper into the Sahara the following day.

Overnight: Kasbah Aït Sefoul

Kasbah Aït Sefoul → Tagounite → M’Hamid → Erg Chegaga

After breakfast, continue south through the desert villages of Tagounite before arriving in M’Hamid El Ghizlane, the last village before the vast Sahara begins.

Here, leave the paved road behind and begin an exciting off-road journey across the desert tracks toward the spectacular dunes of Erg Chegaga, Morocco’s largest and wildest sea of sand.

Along the way, admire endless desert landscapes, hidden oases, fossil plains, and the silence of the untouched Sahara.

Arrive at your luxury desert camp during the afternoon. Enjoy traditional mint tea before taking a camel ride through the dunes to watch the breathtaking Sahara sunset.

As darkness falls, enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner accompanied by Berber music around the campfire beneath millions of stars.

Overnight: Luxury Desert Camp at Erg Chegaga

Option A – Return to Ouarzazate

Erg Chegaga → Lake Iriki → Foum Zguid → Taznakht → Ouarzazate

Wake early to admire one final sunrise over the golden dunes before breakfast.

Leave Erg Chegaga aboard your 4×4, crossing the spectacular Lake Iriki, an immense dry lakebed that was once part of an ancient inland sea. This off-road adventure is one of the highlights of the entire expedition, offering breathtaking desert scenery unlike anywhere else in Morocco.

Reach Foum Zguid, where the paved road begins again, then continue through Taznakht, famous for its handwoven Berber carpets, before arriving back in Ouarzazate during the afternoon.

Option B – Continue to Marrakech

Erg Chegaga → Lake Iriki → Foum Zguid → Taznakht → Tizi n’Tichka Pass → Marrakech
