Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival at Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport, your private driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.

Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the hotel or enjoy a short walk around the city.

Overnight in Casablanca.

Along the way, enjoy several panoramic viewpoints overlooking traditional Berber villages, dramatic valleys, and snow-capped peaks during the winter months. Stop whenever you wish to capture unforgettable photographs of Morocco’s spectacular mountain scenery.

Continue to the legendary Aït Ben Haddou, Morocco’s most famous fortified village and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wander through its narrow alleys, ancient kasbahs, and traditional mud-brick architecture that has served as the backdrop for international productions including Gladiator, Game of Thrones, The Mummy, and Kingdom of Heaven.

After lunch, continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco,” before driving through the beautiful Skoura Oasis, home to thousands of palm trees and centuries-old kasbahs.

Travel along the famous Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing through Kalaat M’Gouna, also known as the Valley of Roses, where local cooperatives produce natural rose water, perfumes, and cosmetics.

Arrive in the spectacular Dades Valley, famous for its dramatic rock formations, lush oasis, winding roads, and traditional Berber villages.

Dinner & Overnight: Traditional hotel or riad in Dades Valley.

After breakfast, begin your journey with a visit to the impressive Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest and most beautiful mosques in the world. Located beside the Atlantic Ocean, it is famous for its magnificent Moroccan architecture, mosaics, carved wood, and oceanfront setting.

Continue north to Rabat, Morocco’s elegant capital and one of its four imperial cities. Visit the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, the Royal Palace area, and the picturesque Kasbah of the Oudayas overlooking the Bouregreg River.

Enjoy free time to explore Rabat’s peaceful medina and modern avenues.

After breakfast, drive north through Morocco’s beautiful countryside. Pass near the coastal town of Larache before entering the scenic Rif Mountains.

Arrive in Chefchaouen, Morocco’s famous blue-painted city, surrounded by dramatic mountain landscapes. After checking in to your riad, enjoy an evening walk through the blue medina streets.

Explore the charming alleyways, local artisan shops, colorful doorways, and the lively Plaza Uta el-Hammam, located beside the historic Kasbah.

Overnight in Chefchaouen.

Enjoy a relaxed morning in Chefchaouen before departing toward the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Explore the archaeological site, including its Roman columns, ancient streets, houses, arches, and beautifully preserved mosaics.

Continue to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities. Visit the monumental Bab Mansour Gate, El Hedim Square, and other historical landmarks before continuing to Fes.

Arrive in Fes in the evening and settle into your traditional riad.

After breakfast, meet your licensed local guide for a full-day exploration of Fes, Morocco’s spiritual and cultural capital.

Begin with panoramic views of the old medina before visiting the Royal Palace gates and the historic Jewish Quarter. Enter Fes el-Bali, one of the world’s largest medieval pedestrian areas and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Walk through the narrow streets and discover traditional markets, artisan workshops, ancient fountains, religious schools, and historic monuments. Highlights may include:

– Al Quaraouiyine University

– Bou Inania Madrasa

– Nejjarine Fountain

– Traditional pottery and mosaic workshops

– The famous Chouara Tanneries

– Local souks and artisan quarters

Return to your riad after the guided visit.

Overnight in Fes.

Leave Fes after breakfast and travel south toward the Sahara Desert.

Your first stop will be Ifrane, a clean and peaceful mountain town known for its European-style architecture. Continue through the Middle Atlas Mountains to the cedar forest near Azrou, where you may see Barbary macaques in their natural environment.

Travel through Berber villages and stop in Midelt for lunch. In the afternoon, cross the Tizi n’Talghomt mountain pass and admire the changing landscapes.

Continue through the spectacular Ziz Valley, known for its palm groves, traditional villages, and panoramic viewpoints.

Arrive in Merzouga near the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi in the evening.

Dinner and overnight at a hotel or riad in Merzouga.

After breakfast, begin your exploration of the Merzouga region and the surrounding Sahara Desert.

Visit nomadic families and learn about their traditional way of life. Continue to the village of Khamlia, known for its Gnawa music and Sub-Saharan cultural heritage. Enjoy a live musical performance and discover the traditions of the local community.

You may also visit old desert mines, seasonal lakes, palm groves, and panoramic viewpoints around the Erg Chebbi dunes.

In the afternoon, prepare for one of the most memorable experiences of your Morocco tour. Ride a camel across the golden Sahara dunes and watch the sunset from the top of a dune.

Arrive at your luxury desert camp, where you will enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner followed by Berber music around the campfire beneath the desert stars.

Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the Sahara dunes before enjoying breakfast at the camp.

Leave Merzouga and travel toward Rissani, an important historic trading town and the birthplace of Morocco’s current ruling dynasty. When the traditional market is open, you may explore its colorful stalls and local products.

Continue through Erfoud, known for fossils and dates, before reaching the impressive Todra Gorges. Walk between the towering canyon walls and enjoy the dramatic natural scenery.

In the afternoon, continue through Tinghir and the beautiful Dades Valley, passing palm groves, Berber villages, and unique rock formations.

After breakfast, drive through the scenic Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. Pass through the Rose Valley and Kalaat M’Gouna, an area famous for roses, cosmetics, and the annual Rose Festival.

Continue to Ouarzazate, often called the gateway to the Sahara and the Hollywood of Morocco. An optional visit to a film studio can be arranged.

Visit the UNESCO-listed Ksar of Aït Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most famous fortified villages. Explore its narrow pathways, earthen architecture, and panoramic viewpoints. The ksar has appeared in many international movies and television productions.

After lunch, cross the High Atlas Mountains via the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Enjoy scenic stops along the way before arriving in Marrakech.

Overnight in Marrakech.

Meet your licensed local guide after breakfast and begin a full-day tour of Marrakech, known as the Red City.

Discover its rich history, colorful markets, beautiful palaces, and lively public squares. Depending on your preferences and opening hours, your visit may include:

Overnight in Marrakech.

Upon arrival, explore Essaouira’s UNESCO-listed medina, whitewashed houses, blue doors, art galleries, local shops, and historic ramparts. Visit the fishing port, walk along the beach, and enjoy fresh seafood at a local restaurant.

The afternoon is free to explore the city at your own pace and enjoy its peaceful coastal atmosphere.

Overnight in Essaouira.

After breakfast, depart Essaouira and travel along Morocco’s Atlantic route toward Casablanca.

 

Depending on your flight departure time, you will be transferred to Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport or to your accommodation in the city.
